
Biography

Born in Cuba, Raymond Daniel is a guitarist, composer, arranger, sound engineer, and accomplished producer who sculpts musical sound with infinite creativity. His artistic versatility allows him to adapt to any musical situation.
At an early age, he began exploring the world of art through painting. Then, at the age of 10, he began his studies on the guitar. Shortly after, he entered the art school in the province of Matanzas, Cuba. There, he was able to expand his artistic range, as in addition to music, he studied theater, and visual arts.
While studying, at the age of 15, he began working with what would become his first band, the Latin Pop/Rock group MAGEN. He had the pleasure of receiving private lessons in solfège and composition for two years from the former bassist of the renowned group IRAKERE, the master Luis Gustavo Martell. He also gained experience in sound engineering from another great Cuban musician, Emilio Martini, current guitarist of the jazz band HABANA ENSEMBLE and NATURAL TRIO
At the age of 19, he produced, arranged, and composed his first jazz album, REFLEXES, together with Emilio Martini. This album included songs such as “Despierta K Estamo en Qva” and “Reflexes.”
Up to that point, he focused on producing another album, this time in the electronic music genre, while continuing to perfect his instrument. This led him to join the rock band HIPNOSIS in 2009 as lead guitarist. He worked as a composer and arranger on six songs from the album REVELATION.
He later decided to reside in Miami, where he worked as the lead guitarist for the legendary Top 40 band PANGEA.
At the same time, he studied Sound Engineering at CCAT — Center of Cinematography Arts and Television in Miami, graduating three years later in 2016 with a degree in Sound Engineering.
From 2013 to the present, he has worked as a music teacher at ALLEGRO MUSIC CENTER and CCAT, helping develop the talent of many young musicians who have gone on to enter prestigious schools such as NEW WORLD and BERKLEE.
In 2016, he created the band VINTASH with Dorian Reyes. The band has a unique international flavor, blending Jazz, Funk, R&B, Blues, Latin, World Music, and Bossa Nova. Served as the band’s director, composer, lead guitarist, alongside the extraordinary singer Michaela Paige, and the experienced producer, and drummer Dorian Reyes, and the great pianist Anika Vila.
In 2017, the group released the album NeWorld.
In 2018, Raymond released the album LULO together with Al2 El Aldeano. This was followed by NOMADAS in 2022, CICLOS in 2023, ASFIXIA in 2024, and MIELES in 2025.
