BIOGRAPHY - ENGLISH

 

Born in Cuba, Raymond Daniel, guitarist, composer, arranger, sound engineer and accomplished producer, sculpts the musical sound with infinite creativity. He can use his artistic versatility to adapt to any musical situation.

 

At an early age he began to dabble in the world of art through painting, then at the age of 10 he began his self-taught studies on the guitar. Shortly after he entered the art school in the province of Matanzas (Cuba). Here he was able to open his artistic range since apart from music he had to study theater, dance and plastic arts. While studying, at the age of 15, he began to work in what would be his first band,  Latin Pop/Rock group ¨MAGEN¨. He had the pleasure of receiving private lessons for 2 years of solfeggio and composition with the former bassist of the renowned group ¨IRAKERE¨, the master (Luis Gustavo Martell) and receive the experience in sound engineering of another of the greats of Cuba, current guitarist of the Jazz Band ¨HABANA ENSEMBLE¨ (Emilio Martini).

 

At the age of 19 he produces, arranges and composes his first Jazz album called ¨REFLEXES¨ wiht (Emilio Martini). an album in which were born songs like ¨DESPIERTA K ESTAMO EN QVA¨ and ¨REFLEXES¨ 

 

Up to this point he concentrated on producing another album, this one of electronic music and perfecting his instrument, which led him to join in 2009 the international Rock band ¨HIPNOSIS¨, as lead guitarist. He worked as composer and arranger in 6 songs of the album ¨REVELATION¨

He decided to reside in Miami, working as lead guitarist of the legendary ¨Top 40¨ band ¨PANGEA¨.

At the same time he studied Sound Engineering at the School of Miami CCAT (Center of Cinematography Arts and Television) graduating 3 years later in 2016 from Sound Engineering.

 

From 2013 to the present he works as a music teacher at ¨ALLEGRO MUSIC CENTER¨ and ¨CCAT¨, developing the talent of many young people who have been able to enter schools such as ¨NEW WORLD¨ and ¨BERKLEE¨. He is also a music producer at the legendary ¨Red Rock Studio¨ in Miami, owned by Dorian Reyes and Clay Ostwald, pianist and composer of Gloria Estefan.

In 2016 he creates the ¨VINTASH¨ Band wiht Dorian Reyes which has a unique international flavor, mixing Jazz, Funk, R&B, Blues, Latin, World and Bossa Nova, captivating in a short time the public of Miami and other regions of the country, being the Director, composer, lead guitarist and second lead singer along with the extraordinary singer Michaela Paige ,also the experienced producer , arranger and drummer Dorian Reyes and the great pianist Anika Vila. In 2017 he launches with this group the album¨NeWorld¨ having continuous hits in virtual platforms like Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, etc. In January 2018 they made the launch of the album at the Flamingo Theatre in Down Town Miami, whose concert was recorded live and is available on YouTube.

 

In 2019  releases together with Al2 El Aldeano the Album LULO and in 2022 the Album NOMADAS , 2023 ( CICLOS ) , 2024 ( ASFIXIA ) , 2025 ( MIELES )
